For our last webinar and web lab in the PLEI Connect project, we asked our members to vote on a topic and the clear winner was online tools for measuring impact.
Our public legal education and information (PLEI) is increasingly delivered online. Our webinar on June 18th, 2013 9:30 PT and 12:30 E.S.T. will look at how to leverage a number of free or low-cost online tools (including Google Analytics and iPerceptions surveys) to acquire data to measure your impact and align with your key performance indicators or KPIs.
Other tools that will be discussed include online user testing tools as well as A/B testing and what metrics matter when it comes social media evaluation.
Participants are encouraged to share examples, questions and tools from their own work.
In the web lab on June 20th, 2013 9:30 PT and 12:30 E.S.T. participants are encouraged to share demonstrations and samples of tools they have used and get a chance to dig deeper into Google Analytics and other tools, exploring best practices in online evaluation tools. As our final web lab in this phase of the PLEIConnect project, this web lab can also be an opportunity to explore any questions and ideas covered in other webinars and web labs throughout the PLEIConnect project.
Our presenter will be Fiona MacCool, the Project Manager of Your Legal Rights, a website of legal information for people in Ontario. For over 16 years, Fiona has worked as an online project manager, software trainer, and web content developer. A "non-techie" at heart, Fiona is passionate about helping non-profit organizations take advantage of the cost-efficient and time-saving power of the Internet to support community partnerships, share resources, and make a difference.
